Tension Set Packers are
available in "S" (thermal) and T" (tension)
series models Both series have multiple high integrity standard features
assuring trouble-free long term service.
Features
T-series T-series packing elements come in slimline and full bore sizes. Packing element materials can be fabricated from the correct elastomer to meet your requirements. Unless otherwise specified, T-series units are assembled using HSN (highly saturated nitrile) elements with molded in anti-extrusion devices, assuring long-term seal integrity. S-series The S-series deploys an advanced high temperature packing system. WHI Engineering has designed a proprietary, field proven 700F sealing system. This system deploys full bore antiextrusion devices, non-elastomeric asbestos free elements, and a positive mechanical energization system. This is a distinct advantage since rubber compounds begin losing seal integrity at or before 500F. S-series models are available with integral or external expansion joints. Before you order your next steam packer, consider the downtime and redress costs associated with elastomeric seals used in steam applications. Expansion Joints The External Expansion Joint (shown) is available non-ported or ported for drainage of completion fluids, and is keyed for tubing string rotation. All expansion joints are assembled with state of the art seals and energization mechanisms that automatically compensate for seal wear. These high temperature seal packs are fitted with wipers at each end designed to clean the seal surfaces while stroking. External and integral thermal expansion joints are available in several lengths to fit your requirements. |
