ISO 9001:2000 Upgrade Announcement

Wellhead Inc is proud to announce that on December 10, 2001 our ISO 9001 certificate of registration was upgraded to ISO:2000 from ISO 9001:1994 for the successful implementation of a quality management system in compliance with the requirements for ISO 9001:2000.  Since 1996 Wellhead Inc has been certified to the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001 quality management system, which provides a basic model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.  ISO 9001:2000 Edition replaced the ISO 9000:1994 Edition on the effective date of December 13, 2000.  Companies like Wellhead Inc, who were already successfully maintaining a quality management system in accordance with the 1994 edition, have up to three years from the effective date to modify their existing quality system to comply with the 2000 edition.  Wellhead Inc is the first wellhead equipment manufacturer worldwide  registered by QCB or API to have their certificate of registration upgraded.  Wellhead Inc believes this proactive approach towards implementing the new quality management standard of ISO 9001:2000 demonstrates a commitment of quality to our customers, our employees, our equipment, and our environment.
